About

England's most notable homes are undeniably stylish and iconic but are having to move with times. It can be a struggle to find a representative who sufficiently understands your needs or your property, and with whom you feel a genuine connection.

Lindsay Cuthill

Lindsay Cuthill

Lindsay is the former head of country houses at Savills and has worked in the property industry for over 40 years. Lindsay has been involved in some of the biggest and most impressive house sales across the UK.

Like so many of his clients, Lindsay divides his time between his South Gloucestershire country home, full of domestic charm, and his convenient Parsons Green flat. Having made the journey from town to country himself, Lindsay is perfectly placed to understand the enthusiasm – and concerns – of anyone considering a similar move.

Sebastian Hipwood

Sebastian Hipwood

Seb lives in the picturesque Cotswold village of Badminton with his young family, dividing his time between London and the country. Having started his career in Parson’s Green before moving his focus to country properties, Seb is uniquely experienced in his understanding of town and country, with a special appreciation of the Cotswolds.

Fittingly for a Badminton resident, Seb hails from a strong line of professional Polo players. Although choosing to become an estate agent makes him something of a black sheep within his family, his strong equestrian connections make him the quintessential expert for anyone wishing to buy a home with equestrian facilities.

Having worked in property for over 15 years, Seb is the former head of office at Savills Cirencester, and worked closely with Lindsay in the country house department. You can find out more about Seb by following him on Instagram.

George Nares

George Nares

George has a wealth of national knowledge both in London and the country. His extensive experience working across the country has honed his understanding of property values, particularly in the high-end market, making him invaluable to buyers looking to cast their nets across county boundaries.

George owes this knowledge to his upbringing in Hampshire and West Somerset, followed by his time with the Savills Country House Department, leading sales in the South and Southwest of England. He now lives with his family in Belgravia but is also regularly found in North Yorkshire, at his wife's family home. George's dual London and country existence is often utilised by his client base, who are similarly entwined in both rural and urban locations.

Following a background in law and having been called to the Bar in 2007, George began his property career specialising in prime central London, with a particular focus in Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Belgravia. His legal experience has ingrained the paramount importance of giving clients the best advice and equips him to facilitate the legal conveyance process.

Starting the story

Every property is different, as are the sellers and buyers who become part of these homes’ stories. For this reason, we don’t have a formulaic approach to selling the homes we represent. Yet, because it is helpful to understand these things, here is a glimpse into the way we work.

After viewing your property and gaining an in-depth understanding, we present our proposal to you. This will outline the approach we think most suited to you and your property and will include details such as:

  • The recommended strategy; selling on the market or off-market as a private seller.
  • A guideline price to sell your home in a timely fashion, with the minimum of frustration.
  • Presenting your home with photographers who will capture your home’s uniqueness.
  • Methods by which to market your home such as brochures, social media, and our Blue Book of contacts.
  • The best way to manage viewings to accommodate you and your potential buyers.

You will receive a breakdown of fees and marketing costs at the outset, providing you with the transparency you need to make an informed decision.

You will deal only with Lindsay, Seb and George throughout the sale. Our intentionally small size allows us to give you our dedicated attention. Furthermore, the select number of properties we represent means we are not overrun like many larger estate agencies. All in, we promise you will feel looked after and listened to.
